Thanks to the Accessible Tourism Infrastructure Grant 2023 from the Department of Tourism and Sport, we’re embarking on a transformative journey to make our charming heritage property more inclusive and accessible than ever before. By mid-2024, expect to see our existing wooden boardwalks replaced with all-new accessible pathways and access boardwalks to each cottage, ensuring every guest can experience the beauty and tranquillity of our property’s gardens with ease.

Though the boardwalks you’ve known are making way for these improvements, rest assured this won’t impact your stay. Our temporary pathways are fully safe and accessible, ensuring your visit is as seamless and enjoyable as always. We’re excited to pave this new path towards inclusion and can’t wait to welcome you to an even more accessible and inviting experience. Thank you for bearing with us through these changes.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was nothing short of amazing. The views from Maple Cottage were spectacular and the decorations in and around the cottage were beautiful. Tam and Jon were brilliant!! They asked if we would plant a tree on the property as part of a biodiversity and sustainability project, which was a core memory for us.

Stayed in the Maple cabin for two nights for my Husbands birthday weekend 25 - 27 Nov. What a beautiful place it is. The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean and stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The hosts Tamara and Jonathan were exceptional and oh my gosh the food was to die for. We booked the deluxe package and enjoyed a wonderful in house couples massage. The whole experience was a joy from start to finish and we can’t wait to return next year.

We had an amazing weekend at Lovestone Cottages - we stayed in Maple Cottage 11/13 November for my Partners 60th birthday !! We were both in awe of the fantastic view, hospitality, cleanliness - we could not fault anything. Pastries delivered every morning for breakfast by Jonathon - and our dinner hampers delivered to our door each night ! You just don’t get ‘good old fashioned service’ much anymore ! Tamara and Jonathon really do put 110% into everything they do, and beautiful genuine hosts. Nothing was an effort for Tamara - from the very first phone call - all my wishes were totally fulfilled. The food was spectacular. The cottage, spa, fireplace and views adds a special magic to the romance. We arrived fairly stressed and left feeling so refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would, we will definitely be returning. We hated to leave such a beautiful place. Margaret and Paul

This was the perfect hinterland getaway. Tam and Jon have their own slice of paradise and anything you think you need they've thought of. Blissful peace and quiet it truly is a perfect couples retreat. We stayed three nights in the trees and now head to three nights by the seas just a great sunshine coast staycation for a couple from Brizzy. 10 out 10 recommend this place it is mint 👌

This place is the absolute must to stay at, immaculately clean, great reception when you arrive and very thorough details provided. I’ve stayed in luxury accomodation many many times but this was a different level. Thanks Tamara and John we will be back.

For years I have said to my husband that I want that romantic getaway, you know the one that you see in the movies and wish that it was just as magical in real life. This year he finally made my wish come true. For weeks he searched for places and one Sunday afternoon he stumbled upon Lovestone Cottages Montville. From the very first conversation with Tam my husband knew this was going to be special. Tam was amazing. She asked what we wanted, she listened and boy did she deliver. Our weekend surpassed all of our expectations and more. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in a dream. Tam and Jon have thought of everything. We felt like we were in a secluded place away from everyone but really spoiled at the same time. Delicious hampers or baked treats delivered, massage services and all the while in quiet seclusion being able to enjoy each other's company. it was a truly magical experience that I will be sure to do again. PS the best cooks in Montville are Tam & Jon. They have sourced some of the most amazing local produce in the area.

Our stay at Lovestone cottages was amazing. The cottage is very well presented with lots of attention to detail by Tamara and Jonathan. Each morning fresh pastries were delivered to our door for breakfast. Food hampers for lunch and dinner were delivered on arrival and they catered to dietary needs immediately without hesitation or fuss. The balcony has views of a well maintained garden filled with wildlife and birdsong. The spa bath was fantastic and a spacious double shower. A well equipped kitchen and outdoor barbeque gave plenty of options for meals in. Meals out are a few minutes drive away and travel can be arranged by request. The local area has beautiful walks in the rainforest with water falls and rock pools to explore.

We stayed in Rosewood cottage a couple of weekends ago for my Partners Birthday. We had the most special weekend here, Tam and Jon really do go above and beyond for each guest and have thought of every detail to make our stay special. We got the BBQ hamper our first night and Tam organised the meat option for my parter and a vegetarian option for me, which was delicious and perfect for a night in at the cottage. We felt so relaxed after the weekend and already can’t wait to visit again in the future! Thanks Tam and Jon.

Recently had two nights in Quandong cottage for our wedding anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. Our hosts Tam and Jon were welcoming and we had everything we could possibly have needed or wanted. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxing few days away. Will definitely stay here again!

This was such a beautiful and serene place to stay! We were in Maple Cottage for 3 nights recently and were in awe at the view from the cottage as soon as we walked inside!! The cottage had everything on hand, lots of special touches that had been thoroughly thought of from hosts, Tam and Jon, to make our stay so perfect. The local pastries delivered every morning were amazing. (Loved the flowers on top of our pastry bags every morning). Tam and Jon have put so much effort into the beautiful gardens and surrounds and all those beautiful cottages, all decorated beautifully and so clean and immaculate. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
