The Montville Timber Trail brings together talented woodworkers, artisans, toolmakers, educators and sustainable timber suppliers from across Australia. The event features live demonstrations, handmade timber products, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to learn traditional and modern woodworking skills in a unique festival atmosphere set just 1.5 hours from Brisbane.

As host of the prestigious Barung Landcare Wootha Prize, the Trail also showcases exceptional fine furniture makers and woodcraft artisans committed to sustainable timber practices. The Wootha Prize exhibition runs 2–4 May at the Glasshouse at Montvale at Montville.

Workshops available include Platypus Carving with Gary Field, Spoon Carving with Danny Holmes, Mushroom Carving with Gary Field, Stool Making with Sara Smith, Pyrography with Kellie Mannix, and Veterans Woodcarving with Nev Jones.
