Booking, Cancellation and Alteration

Policy A deposit equal to the first night of stay is required to secure a reservation at the time of booking. Deposits will be refunded if more than 21 days’ notice is given. Otherwise booking cancellations or changes within 21 days will only be refunded subject to re-letting of the cottage.

Third party bookings will be charged a cancellation or change of date fee of $50 in these circumstances.

Car Parking

On-site parking is available for in-house guests only. If you happen to have someone visiting please let us know and we will arrange an alternative place to park. Spaces are not reserved.

Check-in and Check-out time

Our standard check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is no later than 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available by prior arrangement depending on bookings.

When leaving please drop in to say goodbye. If you are checking out early please lock the door using the 4-digit access pin and text us you let us know you have left. Please place the gate remote control back in the cottage once you have driven through the gate. As our cleaning crew is on-site at 11am and given additional COVID-19 requirements we reserve the right to charge a $50 fee if you have not checked out by this time.

Guest Services 

Changes to any guest services such as massages, food hampers, flowers etc. must be made with 48 hours prior to your massage/request. After this time there is no refund offered. No refund is offered where any medical issues preclude a therapist being unable to perform your massage.

Guest Transport Service 

We are pleased to be able to offer a guest transport service for a modest fee depending on your destination. We do require reasonable notice. Please contact us for details.

Parking in Montville 

Montville can get very busy, especially on weekends. While there is some on-street parking, we recommend these reliable options:

• Russell Carpark: Located behind the Visitor Information Centre. This is a large, convenient area that connects directly to Main Street and a lovely walking path with picnic spots.
• Mayfield Centre (Patrons Only): Located at the top of Main Street. Perfect if you’re stopping for a coffee, as the cafes here offer stunning coastal views.
• Montville Café Bar Grill: Look for the driveway just before the café; there is a dedicated car park located at the back.
• Montville State School Area: Turn off Main Street at the Hunchy Road sign. You will find parking along the side of the road that runs beside the school.
