We all live beneath the same sky, yet our stories are shaped by different places, cultures, histories, and imaginations.
At SCHWF, writers from diverse backgrounds gather to form a living constellation—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, oral storytelling, and emerging forms—each voice adding light, meaning, and connection.
You are invited to trace your own pathway through these stories across our shared horizon.

The three-day program includes author talks, panel discussions and writing workshops across locations in Maleny, Montville, Flaxton and Nambour.
Meet your favourite authors, attend a workshop, and visit the indie book market and food vans while the kids dive into a world of imagination, interactive storytelling and petting zoo.
